Hello to everyone,

As you have probably realized I haven't been on in a while.  The year of 2008 was an interesting one to say the least.  I had extensive injuries that prevented me from being myself for a while last summer.  During the Fall, I was immersed in school work and unable to attend TRF.  I do plan on returning to Scarborough this next year and defiantly TRF.  This will be a short entry but I shall return.

I realize that the title has nothing to do with my actual blog, but in is the saying on my calender for the month.  Since I've been in the shire I haven't really written much.  I've been working, getting back into school, and going to the faire this past month. 

 It has been a dramatic realization this month, having gone more often to the faire, that social groups are prevaliant everywhere.  It is a different culture within the borders of this site, as well as the faires and events that bring us together here.  Walking "back in time" so to speak to the dirt, and rock streets that we tread on weekends I've noticed though we all here share a common interest of the culture, we still keep within the bounds of the societal standards that we set amoungst ourselves.  Some have stricker ties than others.  I myself just try to keep an open mind and make friends with all that would have my friendship.  On another note, this past weekend I had a patron, such as myself, in modern clothing (mind you) come up to me saying "hey you sexy b**ch, can I take a pic of your sexy a**"  I find this to so the times that we are living in today.  You can't escape into another "world" without having the modern courtsey of the modern man.  I found this to be a prime example of the Trojan comercials "Pig" charcter in their new campaign.

Blah.... sorry, I got lost there for a moment, and I will now step down from my soap box.  I do want to say hello to all those of whom I've met this season, and through this social site.  Only 3 weekends left of Scarby, and a few months til TRF.  Well hope to see and meet more people as I'm out and about, and I do promise that I'm not always in this weird writing mood.  I've just had a lack of sleep, and little time to meditate.
